RFID Truck Frame Management Application Technology

RFID radio frequency identification technology uses radio frequency for non-contact two-way communication to exchange data for identification purposes. Compared with the traditional magnetic card, IC card or barcode recognition method, RFID has the characteristics of long-distance and non-contact identification, and has strong adaptability to the environment. Through reasonable design, it can work in various harsh environments and has excellent recognition. effect. RFID identification work does not require manual intervention, and is suitable for realizing automatic data collection of the system. At the same time, it can recognize high-speed moving objects and recognize multiple electronic tags at the same time, and the operation is quick and convenient. RFID truck frame management application technology is precisely using RFID technology to manage these points.

The RFID reader sends a microwave inquiry signal to the electronic tag through the antenna, and the electronic tag is activated by the reader's microwave energy, and after receiving the microwave signal, responds and sends an echo signal with the tag data information. The basic feature of radio frequency identification technology is to use radio technology to identify stationary or moving objects, to determine the identity of the object to be identified, and to extract the feature information of the object to be identified. At present, it has been widely used in automobile production, transportation control management, industrial automation, warehousing logistics and many other fields.

The RFID truck frame management system is based on RFID technology. The Sinotrans container truck control system will be based on the successful application of RFID in other fields, combined with the needs of Sinotrans Container Line Management, with automation, advanced, The principle of stability and expandability is to realize the automatic identification and tracking and monitoring of the container frame around the core business requirements. The core of the system is to install RFID readers and RFID antennas on the front of the container truck, install RFID electronic tags on the frame, and identify the electronic tags through the readers to achieve monitoring and management of the frames. The RFID electronic tag is installed near the front of the frame, and the appropriate mounting position is selected according to the structural characteristics of the frame. At the same time, the frame is made of metal and requires an anti-metal electronic tag. In order to ensure that the electronic tag is not damaged during the use and storage of the frame, the protection of the electronic tag is achieved by making full use of the structure of the frame itself. For a frame that does not have a protective position, the protection of the label is formed by installing a metal baffle or a cushion rubber under the premise of taking into account the reading performance.

The electronic label comes with 3M double-sided adhesive, and according to the material and environment of the attachment surface, the imported double-sided adhesive with high metal adhesion and high temperature resistance can be directly attached to the frame, which is convenient to use and reliable in performance. The RFID antenna is mounted at a position where the front of the vehicle is close to the frame. Because the RFID antenna itself is larger than the electronic tag, it is not easy to find a suitable protective position on the front of the vehicle. In the daily use of the vehicle, there will inevitably be a collision event, which may cause damage to the equipment installed on the front of the vehicle. . In order to avoid such accidental damage as much as possible, the system will adopt an RFID antenna with a thick metal alloy structure on the back of the frame, which greatly improves the withstand capability and has strong adaptability to the industrial environment. UHF RFID reader is the core equipment of this system. The application on the container truck should be able to meet the specifications of the vehicle standard, including dustproof, waterproof, anti-vibration adaptability, and can adapt to fluctuations in voltage and current. Rugged, corrosion-resistant, suitable for outdoor environments such as high and low temperatures.

The RFID reader can be installed in the cab, connected to the RFID antenna through the RF cable, and the RFID tag information can be obtained, thereby realizing the supervision of the frame. Before the system is used, the electronic tag information needs to be initialized first. According to the rules or specifications of the frame management of Sinotrans, the unique identification code of the frame is written into the electronic tag, and the electronic tag is mounted on the corresponding frame. Complete the establishment of initial data information. In this system, the RFID reader is connected to the vehicle terminal through the serial port, and the data read by the RFID is uploaded to the vehicle terminal in real time. After the container vehicle is started, the RFID reader starts to enter the working state; when the frame with the RFID electronic tag is connected with the front of the vehicle, the electronic tag enters the recognition range of the reader, and the data that the reader is about to read is fed back to the vehicle. After the terminal, the vehicle terminal sends the data to the background database after processing, and completes the “carrying task” of the frame.

After the frame completes the "on-board task", the RFID reader can upload the tag information read to the vehicle terminal at intervals, according to the system requirements, and update the working state of the frame in real time. After the frame is completed, it is removed, and the RFID electronic tag on the frame will leave the reading range of the RFID reader. At this time, the RFID reader cannot detect the presence of the electronic tag, and the vehicle terminal cannot receive the reading or writing. The label information returned by the device determines that the frame has completed the "get off" operation. At the end of a complete work cycle of the frame, the system updates and saves this information in real time to achieve real-time supervision of the frame. RFID readers need to have a wide range of power adjustments to ensure that they do not misinterpret other frame electronic tags without affecting read performance.
